We now finally have access to Modern Warfare III’s brand new multiplayer suite, Zombies mode, and War Mode, on top of the single-player campaign we already looked at. On paper it’s a complete Call of Duty package, but as we learned with the campaign, it’s definitely possible to cut a few corners. Bad. Underbaked, rehashed, and cobbled together from multiplayer parts, Modern Warfare 3’s single-player campaign is everything a Call of Duty story mode shouldn’t be. More maps and a slower unlock system aren't enough to reinvigorate last year's combat.

Verdict – 3.5/5. Activision. If you’re someone who plays Call of Duty for its campaign while dabbling with multiplayer, Modern Warfare 3 probably isn’t for you. The half-baked five-hour adventure isn’t worth your $70 alone, so you’re probably better waiting for it to arrive on Game Pass or pick it up at a discounted price.
